Alexander Stephenson

Alex was born in Halifax, grew up in the Isle of Man and later settled in York in 2017, with his partner Nicole. Prior to setting up Pineapple Financial Planning, Alex worked for different blue-chip companies in both accountancy and commercial departments, meaning he was already well-versed in financial oversight and relationship management, before becoming a business owner.
Alex joined the financial services industry the same year he moved to York and has been enjoying evolving his business ever since. But his passion for business didn’t start here; he started his first business at 14, renting out home-hire bouncy castles in the Isle of Man!
Outside of work, Alex and his partner welcomed their first child in February 2026 – which was a huge shock to their dog Nara! Alex also enjoys being a part of the City of York Hockey Club and is an avid golf fan too, although finds himself lost in the trees at Rockliffe Hall far too often.
