Ben joined Pineapple Financial Planning in June 2024, swapping the pharmaceutical world for financial services after more than a decade in the industry. During that time, he helped roll out the COVID-19 vaccine. So yes, you could say he’s already had a hand in saving the world once.
With a long-standing interest in all things finance, the move felt like a natural one. What started as a passion has quickly become what he now calls his true area of expertise. Ben is approachable, down-to-earth, and genuinely enjoys helping individuals and businesses feel confident about their financial future, without the jargon overload.
Although now based in York, Ben grew up in Germany as part of an Army family, which explains his adaptability and team-first mindset.
When he’s not helping clients plan ahead, you’ll likely find him playing professional rugby league, or socialising with friends and family.
